Add payment methods to your GoDaddy account

Required: To add a credit, debit, gift, or prepaid card as a payment method for your account, you must already have at least one non-expired, paid product in your account (free trials don't count). If you don't have such a product in your account, you may see an error message like: "You missed some required information..."

You can add a credit, debit, gift, or prepaid card or a bank account to your GoDaddy account for buying or renewing products.

Note: You can't add PayPal by following these steps, but when you use it to buy a product, PayPal is automatically added to your payment methods. For more info, see Add PayPal to my GoDaddy account.

  1. Log in to your GoDaddy account.
  2. Click Account Settings, and then click Payment Methods.
    select payment method
  3. Click Add Payment Method and then select Credit/Debit/Prepaid Card, Checking Account, or Gift Card.
  4. Complete the fields. Fields marked with a red asterisk ("*") are required.
