Change a Microsoft 365 password

Update your Microsoft 365 password from the Email & Office Dashboard. If you're the GoDaddy account owner, you can also manage passwords for your users, like if you need to reset the password for an employee.

Account owner

  1. Sign in to your Email & Office Dashboard (use your GoDaddy username and password). If you forgot your GoDaddy account password, here's how to reset it.
  2. Under Users, next to a user, select Manage.
  3. Under Manage, select Password.
  4. Enter a New password, and then enter it again under Confirm password (or, select Generate temporary password so the user can set their own permanent password).

  5. (Optional) Under Recovery email, enter or update the email address that can be used for password resets.
  6. Select Save. It could take up to 30 minutes to update the password.

Email user

  1. Sign in to your Email & Office Dashboard (use your email address and password). If you forgot your email password, reset it from the Microsoft 365 sign-in page.
  2. Under Manage, select Password.
  3. Enter your Current password.

  4. Enter a New password, and then enter it again under Confirm password.
  5. (Optional) Under Recovery email, enter or update the email address that can be used for password resets.
  6. Select Save. It could take up to 30 minutes to update the password.
